Deck the Halls

Please join us on November 28, anytime after 2:00 p.m. at the church to put up our indoor and outdoor decorations. Many hands make light work, so we would be thankful for anyone who can join us even for a short time.

We will have four stations where you can choose to dedicate your time, depending on your interests.  Please dress accordingly for the station where your talents can best be used.  Also, please wear masks, especially those working inside the building.

1. Sanctuary and narthex tree decorating (using decorations from prior years — an adventure!)

2.  Sanctuary and hallway wreath hanging (may require some lifting and ladder climbing)

3. Outdoor nativity scene assembly and hanging of greens on posts under the portico (dress for the weather and a truck appreciated if possible to move nativity pieces)  I also have a note that we could use another spotlight for the nativity if you have one you could bring.

4.  Wreath making for 2 front doors (wear work gloves and bring evergreen cuttings 6″-12″ long if you have any)

Please note that we will accept all help for this endeavor — ALL ABILITIES ARE WELCOME!!  If you can’t lift, climb, or carry, we would still love to have you join us!  We always need people to sit in the pews and tell us if things look straight, puff up bows, or untangle light strands. Even just general moral support and a smile will make our work feel more like fun!
