PCC Annual Meeting

St. Luke’s can have one minister and two lay representatives for voting at the meeting. Besides the normal meetings and workshops, there will be discussion on the proposed merger of four Pennsylvania conferences (Penn Central, Penn West, Penn Northeast, and Pennsylvania Southeast), with the vote on the merger scheduled for Nov 9th. There will Be opportunities for fellowship.

Old Zion Strawberry Social

Old Zion’s annual Strawberry Social, is held on the second Saturday of June at Old Zion Church, Reifsnyder Road in Brickerville.
You will enjoy sampling chicken corn soup. Then savor the tastes of homegrown, ripe strawberries combined with cake, ice cream, and whipped topping. A cup of iced tea is included to help you “wash down” this HUGE dessert.
The view of Brubaker Valley from the church’s hillside is simply lovely.
Bring your lawn chairs, food trays, and your friends to enjoy a beautiful, old-fashioned summer afternoon.
All of the proceeds from the Strawberry Social go toward helping to maintain and preserve quaint Old Zion and its surrounding grounds and cemetery.
PCC Annual Meeting Worship

Worship service for representatives of the Penn Central, Penn West, Penn Northeast, and Pennsylvania Southeast to conclude their first joint annual meeting. Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson, General Minister and President of the UCC will preach. Communion will be served.
